New puppy!!! Afraid!?

So, I just bought a new pup. Since it's sunday, no vets are open to get him checked out. But we are taking him first thing tomorrow. We named him Buddy. He is a mini Dachshund. My question is, what all do they check when you bring them into the vet for the first checkup?? He is already started on his shots, he already got started on his distemper and parvo and stuff. But I'm worried about my present dog, and the new pup meeting until he is checked out. Should I be so worried??? I'm even using sanatizer before touching each pet?? Am I just being a freak about it?? Also, he did go potty outside just a bit ago.

Also, he did go potty outside just a bit ago. His poo was half solid, half runny. Should I be worried? I know runny/bloody poo is a sign of parvo. But there was no blood, just half runny and half solid. We are trying to feed him now, but the place we got his from said he was eating just fine. Should I be so worried, or am I goin overboard. Only nice answers please! I will choose best answer! Thanks!! Should I be too worried?? Should I let my dog and the new pup together, or wait until after the exam. They are in the same room, just not letting them close together. They want to greet and play. But we aren't allowing it yet thou.

Don't stress so much. your new puppy is fine around your other dog You should have them meet ASAP make sure you give EQUAL attention so your other dog doesn't get jealous but your other do is healthy so no need to keep them apart actually if you do your other dog might not get along so well with the new one If you can't wait for the vet, go to the local feed store and get the shot and give it yourself. I do it all the time and I am just a regular person( I breed my dacshund and give all the shots and wormer etc. Her poop is fine but you need to worm the little thing too. It is so nice that you care so much about your pets but your going to get sick yourself if you keep worrying! Best Wishes!!
