Dog pooping blood now throwing up?

PLEASE HELP!! I have a 1 year old chihuahua, Zoe. I took her to the Vet 2 days ago b/c she was pooping blood. The vet took her temp and said that it wasn't Parvo, it's just a stomach from something she ate that she wasn't suppose to. He gave her a shot and some amoxicillin that I gave her last nite, this morning and tonite. She won't eat or drink anything and she keeps throwing up. She threw up about 5 times today. I tried to force feed her some chicken broth with a dropper. She kept that down for a while. She threw up about 2 hrs after I gave her the chicken broth. She is very week and moans like she is in pain. I am very worried.

Please, please help me. Is there anything I can force feed her or do for her? She keeps looking at me so sad like she is crying out for help. I do not know what to do. I really don't have the money to take her to the vet again. I hope someone can help. Thanks so much! Dana

Your pup needs a good vet. Chihuahuas can die very easily from lack of food, small dogs' blood sugar is very sensitive. It sounds like your pup has cocidiosis, a nasty protozoan infection. It is usually prescribed Albon suspension (for puppies) Any stomach ache fro tiny dogs or the very young is always dangerous. That vet is an ass! Try to get an eyedropper and give her some sugar water and get her to a good vet. You can sometimes give dogs Imodium to stop the diarrhea, but you need to eliminate the cause. Again, tiny dogs go down quick, so quick action is needed. Get well little one.
